Today's good thing

Okay so today was a little more challeging so this is what I came up with. My good thing is that I quickly recovered from my hangover. Yeah me.

Saturday

So I've been trying to come up with "one good thing". Well nothing major happened today, but I did have some good things happen. I was able to use my coupons at Walgreens and scored 6 bags of chips and 3 dips for $2.00. I then found the Winn Dixie ad and was able to score 2 Red Baron pizzas, Tyson any'tizers, a pint of ice cream, lil smokies, 2L coke, 4 things of lunch meat, and 2 jars of peanuts for $17.01. Not bad for a day of shopping.

One good thing

So I was realizing that there is a lot of negativity out there on all these websites. MLIA and fmylife for example. So I want to try something new. I want to post at least one good thing a day that happened to me. So here is today's: While at Publix today I was able to find Tostito coupons. I plan to use these at Walgreen's. These allow me to buy 6 bags of chips and get 3 free dips. The cool part, the chips are two dollars a piece and the dip is like $3.00 something. So it will be $12 after the dip is taken off. I will use my $10 RR and pay like $2. Then cause my orginal total was over $20 I will get a $10 RR back. See, how cool is that. 6 bags of chips and 3 dips for $2. Can't beat that!

L'Oreal Lash Booster

Okay so you all know that I occasionally get free products from companies to try. Well I recently received a sample of the new L'Oreal Lash Booster set. It came with the serum and the mascara part. Anyways I wanted to tell you that I think this product is really cool. I'm not a big make up wearer and having to wear this for four weeks was really hard, but I think it works. At first I thought it might work only because mascara is hard to get off and I think it was just building on itself. But then I took some time off and I noticed that I have more lashes on the bottom now. It also works so well I don't need to curl my eyelashes. Not like I ever really did LOL, but you get the point. So if you want your eyelashes to really stand out check out L'Oreal's newest mascara. Sound like a commercial? Well kind of, but it's me and I'm only gonna tell you the truth.

New Year More Blog

Okay so even though I keep setting blog goals for myself I keep failing miserably. Part of the reason is I don't want to copy what is already on everyone else's blogs kwim. Trying to find things that are "new" is a little bit harder. So here's what's new with me. Having some trouble with our mortgage now and trying to come up with a solution. I will let you know how it all turns out, but after a few days of panic, we have decided to pray and do our part but let God work it out. It's always much easier that way. I have also decided to take Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University classes again. It always helps to have a refresher and Dave really knows his stuff. It's really funny seeing all these people being held hostage by their credit cards and "the man". So going to help others while working on myself too. I have also told my brother to take the course. If you are young, take it!!! It will teach you how to be a grown up like nothing else. So there's my plug of the day. Good luck to you all and God bless.
